MCB (Brazilian’s House Museum) is the first museum in Brazil dedicated to architecture and design. It showcases exhibitions and holds a permanent collection of Brazilian furniture from the 17th century to the present time. Among the museum´s main features is the MCB Design Award, an annual competition held since 1986, where only the best designers get a spot in the exhibition. This project was one of the entries for the 29th edition, held in São Paulo, Brazil. The challenge was to make it iconic and distinguishable from the other versions, so I designed and created a physical “29” using paper and ink, representing the union of the museum’s nature: architecture and art.
